Well, this bad boy has been used alot, never dropped or anything. Took really good care of it honestly, and out of no where, it decides not to turn on anymore. Not even make the zoom sound when inserting new batteries. Battery life was always sucked out when using the camera, so I had new and old batteries laying around. After a while the camera wouldn't turn on. I was thinking it was the batteries. I set out and bought some rechargeable energizer batteries (the ones that are recommended for cameras), and upon charging them and putting them in... it still wouldnt turn on.
Looking up online, I found that Heavy Duty batteries would drain and destroy the camera. Which sounded weird, but I did use cheap heavy duty batteries. Is there any way I can open it, or is there a specific battery I have to stick to now?
