I am trying to decide which camera to take to Europe. I am more interested in the quality of the photos than the size of the camera. My decision is between a Nixon cooplix 8800 which came out in 2004 or a Canon powershot sx120IS which came out in 2009. The Nixon is much older, so my question really is- is the Nixon still considered a good camera with good quality photos compared to the newer cameras. They have made so many changes to cameras over the years and I feel it may be a mistake to take a camera 10 years old. I haven't used it much over the years because I have used a point and shoot camera. Thanks.
