Can I make my Canon S2 IS accept SDHC cards?

I know an SD card over 2GB is too big for the camera-
'MEMORY CARD ERROR'-- so Is there anyway to RE-FORMAT an SDHC card to make it FAT..
(or whtever it's clled to work in the S2 IS)

Tried the f: fs/FAT command and got a 'sector too large error'..
Any other way to make this card work. ? ?
If not...anyone need 2 brand need 8 GB Sandisk SDHC cards?

If you've researched this, you know no one has fixed this. It's why I picked up a few 2GB cards to keep around.

I see they list "SD Card" and the table looks to be up to 512MB cards.
