DMC-ZS20 lens cover stuck - is that a known issue?

Hi
I hope this is the correct forum for this issue.

My Panasonic DMC-ZS20 lens cover gets stuck
and my question is:
Is that a known issue?
is there a simple way I can fix it myself?

Here is the full story:
I can still go on and use my camera.
But the lens cover only open half way -
so I have to open it with my finger.
And when I turn off the camera -
it only partially close -
leaving part of the lens unprotected.

I actually love this camera very much.
And bought another one for my daughter too.

I decided I will use her camera until I will fix my
But ...
After one day I faced the same problem with her camera too.

Not as bad as with my camera -
Since it will get close all the way if I shack the camera.

I hope I am not the first and the only one to run into this problem and will appreciate and advice.

Lens Cover

I did not find any complaints about the lens cover.

I suggest you contact Panasonic Service, if there is a problem they should be aware of it.

The camera has a 1 year Panasonic warranty.

If the battery needs charging, that can cause such a problem.

GPS devices should be turned off when not needed as they cause a drain on the battery.
