My old camera finally stopped working, and with our new 12 week old baby I can't wait to start capturing her toothless smiles on camera. My baby is now teething, so I'm rushing to get a response here so I can make a decision and jump up and order one.
We've been using our phones, but as we all know they are not the best for snapping a shot while the baby is on action. She has the cutest smiles but moves and bounces as she smiles, so is hard to capture her actual smile. Also, she is not a big fan of the flash. So I'm looking for a camera that can capture my fast moving baby, with good image quality in low light, and user friendly.
I'm looking at staying under $700, but I don't want to focus on the price, I mostly want to focus on the performance. My family usually keep cameras until they no longer work (4 to 5 years). This is going to be a family camera, and we don't have any photography professionals in our family. My husband will be the designated person to snap the pictures, read the manual, calibrate its intricacies, and train all of us how to use it.
I will be looking forward to reading your reviews and tips.
