t3i movie mode--yellow bands?

I recently was shooting a scene for a class project on the t3i when, mid shot, three yellow lines appeared in my frame. The camera wasnt dropped and its the same across lenses...when I shoot still frames, the lines appear if i use the lcd screen, but not the viewfinder and furthermore dont appear on the still image itself...however, for the quicktimes I shot, the lines are all there. thoughts??

these yellow bands appear ONLY when i shoot in manual mode for the movie setting...if I set it automatic they disappear...?????

I can double check that tomorrow (SoCal) but my settings are all stock. Where do I see this?
