Copying from camera memory to PC

We recently purchased a new camera and took some photos, which were stored on the camera memory. We forgot to add the memory card. These images are now stored and can be viewed only on the camera screen etc.
{It looks like the camera must also have some space to store photo's etc, which I didn't know} but I don't know how to move/copy these images to PC. I've tried everything with regards to connecting the camera to PC, via USB cable etc. Now that I have inserted the card into the camera and connected to the PC, it obviously shows the empty card.

Camera memory to PC

Without knowing the make and model number of the camera, I can only give you general information.

If your camera has internal memory most cameras will let you transfer the pictures files in the camera memory to the memory card.

If you connect the camera to the PC via USB, some cameras (software) will let you see and download the photos in the camera's internal memory. Try this with and without having a memory card plugged into the camera.

All of this information should be in your User Manual (except Sony forgot to put it in some of their User Manuals)
