What is the best point and shoot for action kids shots.

I have researched until my head spins. Can I please have a few recommendations for a P&S that will allow me to take quick non blurry shots. I know I need a dslr but I can't afford it right now. My canon sd780 is dead after only two years and I need something ASAP. If possible I would like a quicker camera than my SD780. TIA
