Warranties on DSLR Cameras, Lens, and Flash.

Hi there. I am planning on buying A Nikon D7000 body and 2 lens at this moment. The lens are a 55 - 300 mm and the other is a 35mm. I will in time be purchasing a flash later on. I will be purchasing on my Amex so I know there is that one year additional warranty. Wondering what your thoughts might be?

Most digital cameras and accessories have a 1 year warranty by the manufacturer.
