Hi. I needed a nice and fairly inexpensive digital camera/video recorder and purchased a Nikon Coolpix L810. I'm a rookie and I would like to take decent pictures and video with a camera that is easy to use. My concern is that the shutter speed seems to be a little sluggish. I'm afraid that due to my inexperience I will miss good shots. I don't think I'll need to take real "action" shots, no sports events or anything, but I do want to take candid shots of kids and pets, that sort of thing. Am I expecting too much for the money I spent? I have another week or so on the return policy and want to be sure I've purchased a camera right for me! I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer.
