"No camera properties" in picture properties

This is the second time ths has happened with ths SD card. The first time occurred after I switched the camera to record mode. When I switched it back, I was able to take pictures but, when I tried to view them later, none o them had camera propertis in the picture properies so I couldn't view the pictures. It happened again last week, but after about 15 pictures. I continued to take pictures - should have learned from the first occurrence to check the pictures in the viewer on occasion but didn't - so the rest of the pictures didn't turn out. They still are given names (eg DSC0527.jpg) but they can't be viewed. I've tried a number of recovery software, but all of them stop at that last viewable picture. Anything I haven't thought of yet? Look at the file with IRFANVIEW.

If that fails it's probably another corrupted image to be deleted.

TIP!!! Once the images that can be saved are off the card, FORMAT THAT CARD IN THE CAMERA.

Memory Card

Large GB memory cards.

If you are using a 32 GB SDHC memory card, here is a warning.

There are many counterfeit 32 GB cards on the market.
If you bought it on eBay for a cheap price, it is likely counterfeit.

There are only a few manufacturing facilities that can produce a 32 GB card.
It requires special (expensive) equipment to produce.

Some of the counterfeit cards are defective/rejects when sold, some are lesser sized cards that have been relabeled to say 32 MB.
Only buy 32 MB cards from a trusted source.
