20D vs 70D

Whats a better overall buy? The Canon EOS 20D or Nikon 70D? I am new to photography but will be taking photograhy classes at school and looking for a good dSLR. These are my two finalists.

You will be pleased with either camera.

Nikon and Canon owners have been arguing for years about who makes the best camera.

When you look at the features side-by-side, they are pretty much the same.

The Canon 20D is 8 megapixels.
The Nikon D70 is 6 megapixels.

That is about all the difference in features.

The Canon 20D will cost about $300 more.

Which is better????
You may be arrested for starting a fight.

The 70D was intended as a Digital Rebel killer, and

may be as good as the 10D. It probably can't be expected to compete with the 20D. The reviews I've read say the 20D is the better camera. 33% more megapixels is far from the only difference between them. If you want a Nikon, wait for Nikon to respond to the 20D.
