Cannon Powershot A-540

My camera has been very good, until recently when the inner LCD broke. Now I can't even get the device to take pictures. Would I be better off getting a new one? Or is there any way to fix it for under 100 dollars? I would pay up to that, I love the camera, but the brokenness proves to be more than a slight problematic.
