Traveler digital camera from Aldi?

Does anyone know about these cameras? Has anyone ever done a thorough review of them? Here is the link:

For $85, how does it compare with comparable Canon, Kodak, or Nikon?

These are your typical re-badged made in mass quantity cameras to be sold at check lanes, ebay and such. You know to avoid these.

What more need be said?

By far not so, it's not a typical mass quantity camera! The Traveler digital camera is one of the best cameras I have ever used. It also came with so many accessories and an unheard of 3 years warranty, calling service is not automated you actually talk to someone there. The camera is German and actually made by a well known maker.

What the spec for this camera can't tell you is stuff like ease of use, lens quality, reliability.

You'd probably be happier in the long run with a Canon or other brand name model for about the same money.
