Question about camera flash

I have a Samsung Digimax S1000 and lately I've noticed the flash isn't working. I've lightly pushed the shutter button to charge the flash, like it says in the manuel, but it has no effect. When you push the shutter button a slight flicker of light can be seen from the flash, but no actual flash. Should I have it checked out?

So, you have noticed a change in the behavior of the flash. Were you using fresh/ recharged batteries ? Did the charge lamp come on ? If you have "red eye reduction", did the lamp or indicator light up ? Make sure that you are in one of them "flash modes". Yes-have it checked out or use the warranty if still valid.

I have the same with you, but i have fied it and I think your camera is broke in flash. You should bring your camera to the store in fix it.
