if you explain what type of encryption you use, then we might get somewhere. The iPod Touch supports WEP and WPA. WPA2 does not work. Try disabling security if this is what you are using and see if it makes a difference. It could be the router at fault if not the iPod.

(NT) WEP can be an issue. Now try it per the forum sticky.

My iPod thouch is doing the exact same thing!
Did you ever find out what was wrong with it?
It's driving me nuts, I can't check Facebook, or any other internet sites.
I have to use my laptop instead.

what you have tried,
what the configuration of your wireless network is
if the iPod works on other wireless networks
and any thing else you can think of that may help.

EXCEPT, your email address. It is never a good idea to post your email address on a public forum, unless you really do want to receive a boat load of spam

Having problems connecting to my wireless router.

Hi, I am having problems connecting to my wireless router through my iPod Touch 4th generation. My wireless router is Asus RT-G32. My iPod Touch can find find it and it says it's connected but has a loading sign on my iPod Touch. My sister's iPod Touch can't connect to the wireless router either. This started yesterday. The wireless router is in my room. Well thanks.

Actually it still doesn't work. .-. T_T It had a check mark, so I thought it was working then went to YouTube and other apps that need wifi and it didn't work.
