GTX 660 FPS in Games slowly depletes untill snails pace - HE

by iBobotastic - 4/29/13 10:00 PM

I have a EVGA Gtx 660. My processor is (sadly), an Amd a8 Black apu. My power supply is a corsair 430 watt. Before anyone says that my processor was meant to be in dual mode with the radeon 6670, I already know. Anyways, in games, they start out mostly great, with like 60 or more fps, then it slowly depletes until I'm running at like 15-30 frames. My suspicion is my power supply, could also be my processor, could you guys help? Also some games appear to be very stuttery and yet they still maintain a good frame rate.

I wanted to share these screenshots of gameplay and clock speeds as well as framerate.

Here is cod waw at the very start of the game. http://gyazo.com/e6596d72f33258f47a3c1d00664269e1 , 71 fps, cpu was acting normal. and the gpu was at normal speeds as well.

Fast forward ten minutes. http://gyazo.com/da97bfbd326b341ee677d8be70ac6dd0. 37 fps, and 300 mhz?

and here we are at 15 mins: http://gyazo.com/b5279b09c0353f531e0ed407cea43f38 17 fps

Also, it seemed to do fine under stress tests. http://gyazo.com/1de1ea6343c679033690379728bbff13 I just dont understand it. Will be doing driver updates and such now, will get back to you.

Can someone please help me? Thanks
