Sorry but the choice of fans is severely diminished so let's go over our options.
1. Use better heatsink compound. I won't list such because it's a well worn topic
2. Did you consider that for gaming the i7 isn't the bomb? That is, I'm sure you read this.

I like the i7 but for those that game I suggest they reconsider the i5.
3. Now watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat. I've been able to stabilize i7 laptops by limiting the number of cores in Windows. The i7 should default to 8 so I set it to 6 and for gamers they barely see the difference except the machine may not lock up now.
