I know almost crap about pc's but i want to build my own can someone tell me how to get the right parts

Instead get a machine that works and upgrade it with more RAM, video card, hard drive and along the way you'll learn about what a desktop is, parts and connections. Starting from scratch is fine if you have a budget 2 or 3 times the amount of the parts as you may burn up this or that on the first try.

That is, unless you read more on the web or take a class. I don't write how to build a PC in the forum because that's on the web.

The easy way to build a pc is to go to tigerdirect.com and choose a barebones kits. From a very large selection & different prices and as I always say, "GET THE MOST YOU CAN AFFORD"

My friend have started this challenge but the result it hasn't been positive because it has been very expensive and the installation of hardware is getting wrong. Be carefull.

Learn to upgrade first

The best way to learn about PC's is to upgrade/repair one. I got my first PC for this purpose on Dell Outlet and added more RAM, another hard drive, etc.
For my first build, I spent weeks researching pc parts that would work together and do what I wanted. I ended up spending about $1500 but 5 years later, it is still doing what I want it to and is not under powered in any way.
If you don't know crap about PC's, I don't recommending diving in unless it is with a BareBones kit as mentioned. Even then, I still wouldn't do it until I had experience upgrading systems first, and a basic knowledge of how the components worked, and worked together.
