I loaded Acronis True Image Home 2013 on my HP laptop. It loaded OK but when I clicked on the short cut to run the program I got this message:
"detected unsupported hard disc drives. Acronis True Image Home does not support Windows Dynamic Disks, EZ-Drives, etc."
I called HP support and they told me that my HP laptop did have a dynamic hard drive. The HP model number of the drive is ST500LMO 12. I believe the manufacturer of this model is Samsung but label says HP.
I checked on Acronis website and found out that Acronis 10 or 13 does not support dynamic disc drives BUT you can buy a PLUS Package which will allow Acronis True Home 2013 to work with a dynamic drive as well as a basic one.
Does this seem correct and if I spend about 100.00 for this software will it allow me to clone the drive that is in my laptop now onto a Seagate 1TB drive that I ordered?
