Hi,
I am at my wits end trying to fix this problem. I have tried everything and still having problems.
I have an ATI Radeon HD 2600 AGP graphics card that I am trying to update the driver. Downloaded both driver and the hotfix. Tried both installations through Catalyst and manually but I keep receiving similar to one of the following error messages after restarts:
"ATI driver not installed due to hardware not recognized or "Driver not compatible with current windows"
Checked the ATI forums and everyone is having similar problems but the issue is not being resolved because ATI no longer supports this card.
Yes, I need a new computer but can't afford the one I want right now and besides, this one suits most of my needs.
System:
Dell Dimension 4600
Windows XP 32 Bit
Have enough memory and RAM to support driver.
Thanks for your help.
