Replacing parts in desktop

Ok so I have a desktop it's quite old but I'm looking to take almost all the parts inside of it and replace them. I don't play to high graphic games, I just play like League of Legends and other stuff. I'd like to upgrade my desktop without spending too much money (around $300-$400).

video card could take you where you want to go.

Keep in mind you have a slimline case ....great idea, saves space, small footprint....bad for expansion and upgrades. Limited space inside, often requires low profile cards like the GPU.

As a prior poster mentioned, graphics card and Ram. IF you decide to do that kind of an upgrade to the slimline you had also better shop around for a heavier PSU. IMO you would be better off putting the 3 to 400$ toward the purchase of a new tower that is more suited to your needs, slim line systems are very limiting when it comes to upgrading. I saw a system in a box store last week, fairly basic i-3 tower on sale for just under 400.00, this would be a better option than trying to pump up a slimline.
