MSI motherboard dropped graphics cards

SI have a MSI Z77A-GD55 motherboard with dual Gigabyte GV-N560 graphics cards and an Intel I7 processor. I unplugged the computer to do a normal cleaning/ airdusting and upon being plugged back in, it would not read the graphics cards at all.

I have attempted multiple system restores, going back a little further until the last one which was right after the software was installed for the graphics cards and it would still not read them. I am not sure what to do. I have deleted all of the drivers and software for the cards and tried reinstalling them and still nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, when hooking up the HDMI cable, it will not run out of the mother board. It will only work when attached straight to the graphics card (when they were working). Any ideas?

I didn't read where you tried unplugging the video card, using a little canned air on the card socket, a quick pass of the clean eraser on the card connector and then putting the video card back in.

I've lost count of when the helps.

But the machine sounds like the usual shop hound. Does it go to the shop a lot?
