4 displays in extended desktop mode

Hi! I have 4 displays (3 full hd with hdmi/dvi and 1 with vga) and I want to connect them to my computer in extended desktop mode.

Should I buy two cheap graphic cards? Is there a solution with only 1 graphic card? What should I do to connect them? I don't play games or watch movies, I just want to work on extended desktop.

Clarification request: So little told about the PC.

Some have issues with such things. I find a pair of dual display cards is nice but many folk need support which can drive the cost way up. Or they don't have a PC with a big enough power supply but the list goes on and on.

Try a pair of cards first.

Try DisplayLink USB-to-DVI adapters

ATI makes several PCI-E cards, such as the 2450, that can drive four DVI outs.
Since you won't be playing games or movies, you can also consider doing what I've done: connecting your third and fourth monitors via USB2-to-DVI or USB3-to-DVI adapter "dongles" based on DisplayLink technology. The adapters cost anywhere from $40 to $100 per port.
