Dell has sent me 3 monitors. A friend finally said, U have a VGA cord? yep. I do a LOT of reading and the text/charts all have visible pixelly poor quality. Okay. So update to the UltraSharp U2412 for DVI port, VA as opposed to the TN (twisted Nematic) and etc., so I can get better text quality?. Dell offered the Radeon 6450. I read it has poorer texel/pixel rate than the Radeon 6750. Really this is deep stuff just to get a good monitor read with less eyestrain. Do I have to go to a $500 monitor or will the U2412 with a good (which? please) graphic card do it? Any help deeply appreciated.
p.s. I have Dell Inspiron 620 64 bit Win7Pro desktop Integrated Intel 5 X8300

cataract surgery or at the very least, a consultation with an optometrist, seriously! Assuming everything is set up properly with PC and monitor.

Practically any TN monitor with VGA suffice for most most folks, let alone MVA or IPS with DVI. And you realize that the higher the resolution, the smaller the text will be, yes? Lighting around the room/workspace also helps so experiment till you find ideal.
