Need suggestion for purchasing new hardware

hey all,

i'm a CG artist. thinking of getting some new hardware this weekend.
3D Graphics, animation, rendering and HD video editing is priority. Gaming after that.
already have 1 tb HDD, old 9800 gt graphic

- processor -> i7 2600k
- motherboard (SLI)-> ?
- graphic card -> ?
- RAM -> ?
- PSU -> ?
- case -> ?

Please suggest.

To avoid power supply headaches with RAILS, get a single RAIL PSU and if you want it to last, get double the WATTs the system calls for.

Tomshardware did a motherboard shootout years ago to answer the question if the motherboard affected speed results. The answer was yes at 1 to 2 percent differences.

I have no preference on motherboards.
