PC hardware forum: Start up error

Start up error

When I switched on my computer a black screen appeared and said "Press F1 to continue or F2 to strike setup"

Is there any way to clear this error?

F2 takes me to the setup on most machines and then I save the settings. If the BIOS BATTERY is old this common procedure would have to be repeated until I replace the battery.
