Where is my CPU Temp?

Hey, here's an unusual problem, different tools are giving me different CPU temp results, screenshots below:

Intel Hardware Utility reports:

Can a 3rd party CPU Fan cause this mess?

Widely discussed and still creates posts when folk rediscover this.

Fix? Use a real thermometer.

Just use something like CoreTemp (RealTemp for Intel processors) or HW Monitor.

You could also look up the temps. in the BIOS.
