Graphics card for wife

Since my marriage hangs in the balance I thought I might ask here for a second opinion. happy Which of these would you choose? Be nice, she might be watching. grin

Recently we acquired a 2002 era computer.

VIA mother board
celeron processor
two hard drives 40GB and 10GB
has additional sound card and net gear ethernet adapter
RAM will be around 750 MBs when it arrives this week
I can see by my list I might want to bump up the power supply.

This PC has some good software...XP Pro SP3 and Microsoft Office 2003 Pro but the hardware is on the, lets say, needy side.

Are you sure you don't have AGP?

AGP 4x was around in 2002.

As far as these choices go, 5500 hands down.

It is a later iteration and is faster.

This is what I came up with from VIA

The board model is P4M266-PM12_TL with an extension of VT8751 .<< the period is not part of the number.

The board has a brown PCIe like slot. Wikipedia said this matches the AGP slot:

These are what newegg has listed. There was no comparison feature available on the site concerning these AGP video cards. I'd like to spend around $30.00-$40.00 on preferably a well known brand.
