Nehalem or Penryn for a laptop?

I know that the Nehalem processors have not been introduced to the market yet (not until Q4 2008); however, I was wondering if it would be worthwhile waiting for the new microarchitecture to come out or just settle for the Penryns.

-Performance
-Cost
-Reliability

I'd look at the current offerings with one caveat. Ask if you need gaming or not. If you play those 3D games get the best video solution you can. If not, the x3100 is fine.
