...no such thing, until CPU's are made from liquid anyway. %)
In Windows Task Manager, instead of Performance, click on the "Processes" tab. The headings about the listed processes are :
Image Name | Username | CPU | MEM Usage
Click the "CPU" twice, so it shows busiest processes at the top. Now here's the tricky bit....
Whatever is busy, "applications/virus/spyware/things you forgot (but left running for years)/System Idle" will be shown there. The name is an indicator to help you narrow down what's doing what.
The list is huge, long, and complex, and different for ALL our PC's, as none of us have the same setups, and applications installed and running, so you have to look at the name of what is busy, and decide where you'd like to go...however...
Most 2+Ghz PC's looking at this webpage, and doing nothing else (haven't you lot heard of "folding@home" ? lol) will likely be 0 - 5% busy, as the operating system runs all it's required processes. 20+ % while doing nothing...looks ominous...in a trojan/zombie infection sort of way.
Listed EXE's can be searched on (only a web search away) in your Hard Drive, where you can show their properties, and figure out what they.
