Older Monitor + New PC= Driver Problem?

Hello,
i'm planning on buying a new Media Center PC, the Gateway GT5032, and using my old HP crt monitor with it.I checked Hp's site for updated drivers and they were for Windows 98 and ME, no XP listed. Am I going to be able to use this older monitor with a MCE computer?

I have an Insignia (a Best Buy brand) CRT and it came with no drivers at all. My Windows XP sees it as a "Plug and play".

Most monitors, if not all

are Plug and Play. I see no reason why a monitor would require a driver, maybe for tweaks, etc. ?
