Need a new fax machine HP 640 or Panasonic FP-205?

I think those are the right model #'s. I started off with the Brother 775 and the fax quality was just awful. Tried 2 of them. Don't want to spend too much so considering these two. Any thoughts or advice on which of these is the better choice would be much appreciated, or if there's a better choice under about $80. Thanks!

All fax quality is pretty awful.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fax notes it can be 150 DPI which is going to cause those that haven't been around FAX for long to think it's a matter of a bad fax machine.

If quality matters, email the document.
