Partition mistake

I have a 16 gb sd card and I was attempting to put android CM7 onto it so I can duel boot my Color Nook. I was following some instructions online.... Part of the instructions was to run it through Partition Magic and create a partition. I didn't get the partition right, and hit the delete button thinking it would cancel my last action, but instead, I lost the entire card....it is unrecognizable on my pc. Is there anyway to get my card back....without paying $50 for a partition recovery program? I'm about to pull my hair out over this!!! Thanks!!!!

I followed the instructions and got my card back. Link only.

I opted for this method to write the image to the card and recover. I never fussed with any partitioning.
