Best wireless keyboard/mouse combo

Hi,

I am looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse. Right now I have an older combo and get spotty performance sitting 5ft away, so an upgrade needs to happen. The performance needs to be solid if I sit 7-8ft away. I use my setup for media, some typing and gaming, mostly web browsing. I was looking for something $60 or cheaper. you guys have any suggestions? (I was looking at the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000, but don't know much about it) Thanks

Logitech, there are several models from which to choose.
