Printer recommendation for invitations & card stock
by bamboo14 - 5/27/06 10:17 AM
I currently own a B&W HP Laserjet 3100 all-in-one (which still performs superbly despite its age). Also have a Canon i860 as an inexpensive color printer. It prints very nice for cheap operating costs. Both have difficulty with card stock and invitations although both have a relatively straight paper path. Both tend to struggle with feeding paper correctly and I end up with a lot of slightly crooked prints. Yes, paper alignment is correct and feed guides are set. Sometimes they won't feed at all and I have to give the paper a little push. I would like to consider another printer, but I have yet to find one that lists card stock as an acceptable medium. Most list a max 28# paper. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
