how to configure normal wireless modem

hi i zakwan from malaysia,

i new in this forum,i just want to know it that possible we can configure the normal wireless modem?.

From my knowledge we can configure manually for cisco router or switch at pc by doing on hyper terminal. It that normal wireless modem can be configure using hyper terminal?.

The defaults today work fine. But for a MODEM, there is no single standard. That is, a modem on COX differs from ATT, Verizon and others. For that you ask the carrier.
