Hello,
I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to computer repair, build , software , etc. But, now my problem is with my internet provider which is Clear 4G. I believe it runs through Sprint. Which, I do have a cellphone service with Sprint. I recently moved to my new apt. And, here the signal is really REALLY really weak. Clear 4G seems to be a real ripoff, why? Well, I am paying $49.99 monthly. But with no contract.
Now, the speeds with Clear are
DL: 2mb's-3mb's
UL: 1mb
Really slow. I can't even stream videos in HQ. Now, I saw a video about a product that helps to boost/expands your wi-fi signal.
I am willing to pay for http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-Compact-Powerline-Ethernet-TPL-406E2K/dp/B008F537KC
The big question here is:
Since, Clear is a wireless internet provider and not a cable-wired internet provider will it help/work to boost the signal if I use the 'Powerline products'?
Note: I use my internet for:
- movies, videos, music (ps3, xbox360, cellphone and PC)
- online gaming (ps3, xbox360 and PC)
- Thank you,
Oscar
