Belkin router making internet go down every minute

Heya,
Ever since I got my belkin n150 router to replace my dlink router(it was getting very old and subsequently had started failing) my internet connection has been going down every 2 mins for 10-20 seconds then going back up. By internet connection I mean the little animation/picture showing the wifi connectivity on PCs, phones, ipods etc.
However, on my PC it was fine ever since I put the belkin set up CD in for the router. Obviously I cannot put the CD in my phone, and the internet problem makes it near impossible to stream, download and play online games on my phone.
Has anyone encountered this problem before (and acquired a fix :D?)

It sounds defective out of the box so take it back and ask for a good router.

Your post does not tell me it's your problem to fix.

I've seen lots of people complaining about the same problem (but no fix >.<); I don't think its defective, I was hoping there was a setting or something I could change, and if it was defective then how come the cd makes it fine?

And then you claim the CD makes it fine. It appears this router is not good enough for use with things that don't have CD or app support and this is why I think it's defective.

The maker has also bailed on you so my thought here is that it's bad right out of the box so back into the box for one that works for you.
