WNA3100 Stops working (windows 7 64bit)

Hi,

I have a problem I believe with the WNA3100 driver for my N-300 Netgear USB adapter. It stops working randomly and won't work again until I reinstall the software, then it works fine again. It seems to happen more when I'm downloading something or streaming. I'm using the 2.0 driver at the minute but I've also tried an earlier version to no avail, same problem.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

The drivers and such are not open source so if they fail, we change the hardware.

No I haven't tried any other adapter yet. This one isn't very old so I wanted to see if I could get it working properly again before I spend money on something else. It came with a CD with the driver on but unfortunately I've lost it. You download the driver from the netgear site.

Sadly the cost to test, diagnose a stick like this exceeds the cost of a new one. You've tried the usual but I only have what you share here. Such does fail if there are trojans and other things but unless you tell more I can only think it's a failed device.
