It may be a coincidence but my Broadcom Network Adapter 802.11g stopped working after trying to fix 'Unknown device" in Device Mgr. (It was working fine B4 this)<span>OS: Win 7 Starter on BenQ Joybook Lite U105. I tried the Windows troubleshooter and nil (saying there may be a problem with the driver) I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it (including a newer 1) and nothing. Within 'Network Connections' The Broadcom Wireless Adapter is shown as 'disabled' it would not enable. What is preventing it from being enabled?. Went to 'Component Services' & started or restarted all with word 'network'-still no luck. Any suggestions? BTW the unknown device-still not fixed as well--shows an icon that looks like its my laptop itself. Also used a linux USB and it worked fine, makig the problem a windows one. thank you
