Hi guys, Im losing my mind with this computer! My internet is working fine, but my Ethernet cannot get a connection. On my Ethernet Local Area Connection it says status is: Limited or no connectivity i am running an Ethernet cable from my xbox 360 to the Ethernet adapter slot at the back of my computer, no wireless or anything. And as i say the internet works fine though i cant get any connectivity out of the Ethernet adapter. This used to work fine two weeks ago, now it refuses to work i recently moved and so i disconnected my pc nothing broke and all it did was sit around in a safe place before the move EVERYTHING worked fine, On my xbox the display says:
Network adapter - wired IP address - failed Im sooo so confused with what to do now, anyone got any suggestions? Anything would be a great help i'm running windows xp sp 2 oh and i've looked into the crossover cable thing and either it doesn't matter or my cable is crossover because its been working for over three years so that point is moot please help and I'm not interested in buying any xbox wireless adapters or any alternate ways of getting my xbox online i just need help getting my pc to connect to my xbox 360 via ethernet again thanks for the help
