Hi.
I am afraid I was unable to interpret the diagram that you had provided. However, based on your narration I drew the following conclusions and my solution is based on the same:
Assumptions:
1. There are two shops, each with an individual router connected to the internet.
2. Each of the router is connected to the switch in the respective shop.
3. The computers in the shops are connected to the respective switch.
If this is correct then read on, otherwise, please explain the network again.
Solution:
We will need to reconfigure both networks with separate Ip addressing schemes. Two Ip ranges are necessary as two separate routers are used. One router will allow 'Network 1' to connect to the internet through it.
Second router will allow 'Network 2' to connect to the internet through it.
We will use a third Ip addressing scheme common to both the networks to allow them to act as a single LAN.
Shop number 1:
1. You need to reconfigure the networks Ip addressing scheme.
Set the routers Ip address as 172.16.1.1/255.255.255.0.
2. Use the appropriate Ip address' with the computers, ie. 172.16.1.3, 172.16.1.4, 172.16.1.5, ... Use the mask 255.255.255.0
3. The gateway address on computers will be routers Ip - 172.16.1.1
4. DNS addresses I use are 156.154.70.22 and 156.154.71.22. These are provided by 'Comodo' so I trust them. You can also use these.
Or you can set the DNS to a simple 172.16.1.1
Shop number 2:
(Copy of the above with the changes)
1. You need to reconfigure the networks Ip addressing scheme.
Set the routers Ip address as 172.17.1.1/255.255.255.0.
2. Use the appropriate Ip address' with the computers, ie. 172.17.1.3, 172.17.1.4, 172.17.1.5, ... Use the mask 255.255.255.0
3. The gateway address on computers will be 172.17.1.1
4. DNS address' I use are 156.154.70.22 and 156.154.71.22. These are provided by 'Comodo' so I trust them. You can also use these.
Or you can set the DNS to a simple 172.17.1.1
Final step:
Configure an additional Ip addresses on all the computers of both the shops.
Implement the following steps on all the computers:
Assuming you are using 'Windows' operating system:
a. Open control-panel
b. Double Click on network connections
c. Right click on the appropriate 'Network Interfaces' - local area connection - icon and select 'Properties'
d. From the list in the general tab, select and highlight 'Internet Protocol TCP/IP'
e. Click on properties.
f. Click on 'Advanced'
g. Now in the 'IP Settings' page, There is a heading 'Ip Addresses' with
a button titled 'Add'.
h. Click on the button 'Add' and enter the following Ip address applicable to each computer -
Ip - 172.18.1.3 Mask - 255.255.255.0 for the first computer,
Ip - 172.18.1.4 Mask - 255.255.255.0 for the second computer,
Ip - 172.18.1.5 Mask - 255.255.255.0 for the third computer,
and so on.
i. When connecting for the purpose of using the games, use the last range of Ip addresses, the network will work as a single LAN.
j. Also use a cross cable to connect the switches within the shops. If you may be able to provide me with the model number of the switches I may be able to provide further information on the cabling.
k. I have a habit of leaving first two Ip addresses as they are required at times for other purposes. You may use them, but that might complicate the numbering.
I hope this will be of some help.
Take care.
