New USB Wifi - Which One?

Hey, on my desktop I use a Netgear WG111 USB, however it is not working (continual crashes, sometimes doesn't turn on/work), so I've decided to buy a new one.

But im confused which USB Wifi is more likely to work with a greater degree of consistency.

The router is not too far away (downstairs on a 2 storey house, floor and 1/2 walls inbetween)

Running Windows XP on the computer, though im supposing most will be compatible.

I have previously looked, and found the Medialink N/G USB which seemed brilliant in reviews, however I cannot seem to be able to buy it in the UK.

Thank you for any help regarding which USB to buy.

USB is an afterthought for wireless, and has additional conversions to connect to the PC. Get a real PCI wireless card. Radio direct to machine language, and a real antenna.
