wireless faxes a few years back, but I didn't know the cell phone was used as 10 years ago cell phones were not nearly as common as they are today.

LOL, SORRY but fax machines are NOT dinosaurs at ALL !!! LOL, look around you blind one! business have fax machines like you cannot believe, and cannot survive w/out them!!

Companies like HP, Canon, Brothers and others whould be working with cell phone compamies to put sim cards into these all in one units (fax, scan, copy, and print) and fax machine. with the right software or modified software, you fax machine can send faxes through the cell phone towers. If you don't want to use the fax machine, have the fax software compatable with Android or droid software. I do not know window 7 phones. Windows XP would let you fax from your desktop or laptop if you started their fax service in XP and connect the phone line through your desk or laptop. the question is with Window 7 phones, do windows 7 phone operating system have services like their desktop counterparts. If so, then you could, in theory, connect a USB cable to you desktop or laptop, transfer the file to your phone and run the fax service in your windows 7 phone and the phone sends the fax to another fax machine. If not, then Microsoft could partner with a a cellpone company and modify the desktop fax service to run on their windows 7 phone Os and there you have it. You would have to get the latest and greatest widows 7 plan and a ata plan like Sprint's unlimited data plan to do it, this is the best that I can come up with, in theory.
