1. WPA-PSK for wifi security.
2. Broadcast SSID since disabled some machines drop connections.
3. No other settings used such as mac filters...

What if I switch to a PC designed router?
It seems there are millions of P2P users who are not experiencing this problem, or have no use for a router.

Most routers except for those very old units with outdated firmware now work.
But let's not dismiss this entirely. The industry still has a lot of work to do to make this easy for my mom.
