Set up a wireless network without the internet

He can anyone help me to set up a wireless network. I have a linksys wireless-B 2.4GhZ 802.11b wireless router (I know its old but I dont need anything new) Well I just want to have a central computer with a central network folder so other wireless laptops can connect to it. I cant seem to make it work. Oh yea the central computer is windows xp while some of the other laptops will have vista. If anyone could show me a good link (maybe with a video) or can tell me that would be a huge help. Thanks a lot

No router required.

You can create an ADHOC network or just plug into the router and turn it on. There is NO VIDEO that helps since there is NO STANDARD dialog boxes for setup. Such are only guides and most wanted a step by step but with dozens of routers and firewalls aplenty no one has a video for your hardware and software.

Some like NETWORK MAGIC so look to see if that's what you need.
