Wi-fi. Are there any health risks?

Does someone know if a wireless router in a bedroom emit radiation (microwaves) that may pose health risks for humans? Should we worry or use wi-fi without any concern? Thank you.

High Quality Mains Extension
I've found that plugging my cordless phone and wireless router into a hifi grade mains extension helps to reduce the negativity of the radiation.
Ha what a joke...
Don't listen to this one - he's just advertising through scare tactics.
High quality mains extension. Where do they come from :/
Not only high quality ...
hifi = high fidelity. Sounds as the original (from the LP era).
I've just recently discovered how dangerous they are. I've had wireless router in my home for the past 5 years. Usually when I'm done using it, I turn it off, but more recently I've been spending most of the day on the internet. My own general malaise, I've attributed to other causes but it is when my two cats began showing symptoms of illness, that I took notice. Within this year, my cats began showing symptoms of asthma. I've spent so much money on naturopathic products hoping to bring their system into balance. They already have an organic diet. The visit to the vet cost several hundred dollars with tests and solution offered? The steroidal treatment. Just the other day, they were coughing and gagging for breath all of the earlier part of the day. Then, I turned everything off to go out to run some errands. Strangely, when I returned, they were both perky and happier. Yesterday, I had my wireless turned off, leaving only the wired desktop. So far, I'm seeing significant changes in their behavior. One of my cats hadn't had any attack since then; the other one is definitely improving. And oddly, I feel better too. I don't feel as run down. I think this is serious stuff.
Modern ("hidden") science sounds a resounding YES!
IT'S ALLLIIIIIIIIIIVE!! (this thread that is). Nonionizing radiation was once thought to be harmless. However, the science that suggests nonionizing radiation to be harmless is null and void, and completely outdated (not to mention a complete lie [we've known for years of its negative health implications]). With the power of seemingly endless amounts of information at our very fingertips, it surprises me that more people are not aware of the facts on this matter (but then again, I'm not surprised). All one must do is simply type in "cell phone dangers", "radio waves", "microwave radiation" or the like to find out plenty of information on the subject. In doing so it would surprise me if one did not run across a credible site that delves deeply into the subject matter of harmful radio/microwaves. To make the reader's life easier I will post some pieces of info (titles/phrases to search for [copy and paste what's in the quotes]) to get them on their way: "How Radio Works", "Genetic Effects of Nonionizing Electromagnetic Fields Dr. Henry Lai", "Nerve cell damages in mammalian brain due to microwaves icems" (there's plenty of info). Even the World Health Organization (WHO [whom I really don't trust]) has recently made notice of the health implications of radio waves (cell phones, WIRELESS ROUTERS...) by classifying cell phones as possibly carcinogenic. The tech industry has done itself a great justice, with a great millions of dollars, in deceiving millions of people on the problems associated with radio waves. Why would these people tell you that their products are harmful? Would you buy their products if they told you they were harmful?--absolutely not and they know it. Don't be another subject to this ongoing Milgram Experiment of Life by believing what everyone of "authority" says on any subject matter. Always research something before you decide to believe in it.
Read this article from The Guardian
The Guardian is Britain's leading newspaper, and this is both an amusing as well as very well sourced article. They're not going to be carrying water for any commercial interests. If you're worried about your router, try the Faraday Cage...
At 2.4Ghz, radiation can penetrate the body. It is not damaging though, at only 1 watt. Microwave ovens are, however, dangerous, as they use several hundred watts of power. Inertia is a property of matter.... bill bill bill bill.
mackintosh18 - I have a linksys router E900. I can't find out how many watts it outputs. Do you know if my router is dangerous to use? Can you tell me where I can go to find out if my router is dangerous to use?
EMI problems that affect all of mankind
My aim is firstly to bring awareness to the EMI problems that affect all of mankind of all age groups, all ethnic groups, Male or female, even pregnant mums to be.
Where ever there is mobile coverage. Everyone will be, and are being effective,
There is a large number of people that do not realise what is going on and probably are unaware and not heard about EMI Emissions. We carry the phones very close to our persons, Shirt pockets, trouser pockets, tucked in a women's bra,
There is a lot of information on the web relating to these things I will highlight clips and web sites that you can visit to find out for your selves.
Problem identified places
Mobile phone Eye phones Electrical Note books, all produce Emi emissions, and we act as an Ariel for these devices
We have Yi-Fi in our home, in our schools, in shops most cafes, in fact you would be hard pressed to find a zone that you will be safe at.
What can we do for ourselves to help?
(1) Disconnect all Wi-Fi devices, replacing it with A Hard wired system.
This dramatically reduces its effects; on hubs at home you can access Your Hubs to disconnect the devise.
(2) Mobile phones I pads Mobile devises. Use any devise off of your selves, keep them away off your body, use on speaker phone, do not place to your ear for more than 15 seconds. I place my mobile if I need to take a call on the arm of a chair and speak from a distance,
