what's better- secure USB drives or encryption software?

Hi all,

could you please advise on what are the pros and cons of each solution- purchasing a secure USB drive (f.e. IronKey's products) or using a removable media encryption software?
btw I'm a Mac user so I'll need to move around those encrypted files from Mac to PC...

Most are not that secure.

If you are into such discussions I'm sure you know the US Gov's stance on PGP. I won't duplicate the story here but any really secure system is either illegal or under siege.

Are you sure that you want to go into this discussion? Are you aware of PGP?
