is this the fastest processor today, ???

im planning to replace my server on my computer cafe with i9 and asus p6t7 board. one server per 20 host, a total of 5 server for the 120 unit. can it be use with the fastest processor today?

Intel recently introduced the Xeon 7500 EX: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845,2362102,00.asp.

The top model is $3692. But you might be content with something less powerful.

i prefer this:
1 server for all..i have experiencing that..the speck for the server is this(i think this is the best)

proc: 4x Core i7 Extreme 965 HT 3333 MHz
board: Asus P6T Deluxe X58
RAM: Triple DDR3-1333 with the latency 9-9-9-24 CR1
or maybe higher..using the AMD procie..
the speck is
proc AMD phenomII X4 3.6GHZ or higher,RAM 4-8GB,board ECS A785GM-AD3

using the windows XP X64 with optional software is enough..no need for the Win SERVER..its useles i think....just try...
NB: AMD is much cheaper than Intel..so if you low on budget,i prefer AMD..lol

This motherboard will work with all Xeon E5502/E5504/E5506 CPU's, unfortunately it will not work with Intel's latest Itanium 9000 series processors. From what I've read on Intel's site; in order for you to run a 9000 series Xeon processor, you'll have to go with a specific server motherboard.
If you want the baddest bang for your buck motherboards; you might want to check out what EVGA has just come out with {EVGA Classified Super Record 2 (SR-2) Motherboard http://www.evga.com/articles/00537/ } Then you can put in a pair of 5000 series Xeon CPU's, multi-GPU's (SLI or Crossfire X), and up to 48GB's of memory.
